Are all better and more memorable bosses than her. She's pretty bland, only redeeming feature is the grace and fluidity of her movements, looks kinda cool.

PvP by and large is *okay*. My experience today just sucked because the only people I fought were, besides all being laggy as fuck, two groups of four and two solo poisemonsters; and the Funsword, buffed or not, will never be a great gankspank weapon or posemonster-beating weapon (unless you literally only rollR1, which takes a patience I don't have given the host's likely 12+ estus flasks).

From a dueling perspective, DaS3 is balanced as well as any other Souls game, IMO.

On the recent days I had the same kind of experience.

I imagine in my head the fun that I will have invading and fighting with other people. I enter the game and 5 minutes later I remember that everything works like crap and leave the game.

I still have a lot of fun doing PvE and being a sun-bro tho, but It's just frustrating to do PvP in DSIII.

when i played through dark souls 3, i turned off the music halfway through so i could listen to chunes while grinding. i sort of forgot about it, and i got to dancer and fought her in dead silence.

it was awesome. this dark, cavernous room. dancer is just whipping around making the most subtle noises. probably my favorite fight of the soulsborne for this dumb reason.

Ludwig and Orphan of Kos are, by far, the best fights in the series. All things considered, no other fights even come close in terms of blending music, mechanics, story/lore, arena aesthetic, buildup, difficulty and animations.

Especially not with FROM at the helm. DS3's Astora ss is now worse than the longsword in pretty much every way despite having higher statreqs. The FUGS is now weaker than a heavy EGS despite the EGS having half the statreqs and weighing like 70% as much. FROM can't balance for shit.

You'll need to use things like the evil eye ring and Arstor's spear and Aldrich's ruby if you want meaningful HP regen. Passive MP regen sucks because there's no fragrant ring equivalent but Aldrich's sapphire and the executioner gs can allow you to restore enough MP to cast great heal or a regeneration miracle every now and then. Chimes have a regeneration WA, and IIRC there's a chime in TRC that allows you to use the WA and then switch to a different weapon while keeping the effect.

By the way, Anri's ss caught an HP regen nerf and an AR nerf so prepare to be disappointed if you try it out.

The EOS, ADG, and sun princess ring all heal 2 HP per second, which is 6 HP every 3 seconds. Blessed weapons/shields at +10 heal 3 HP per 1.5 seconds, which is also 6 HP every 3 seconds. Anri's ss heals 2 HP every 2 seconds, or 6 HP every 6 seconds. The SPR + EOS will net you 4 HP per second for a total of 12 HP every 3 seconds. A +10 blessed LKS will make that 18 HP every 3 seconds for an average of 6 HP per second. This isn't enough to keep up with the damage that enemies will be dealing relatively early into the game.

I don't think I ever even fought Alonne. Watching other people fight him leads to me to believe he could have been a decent boss if not for DaS2's awful fucking engine.

Fume was pretty good conceptually, but he just had too damn many mixups. He was the first boss, and only come to think of it, in the series where I really felt like RNG determined how the fight went.

Personally I loved Champion Gundyr the most in DS3, O and S were the best in ds1
