The story mode was more interesting to me than any of the other ones, the previous ones seeming too cartoonish and V feeling like it went nowhere

Driving sucked

Liberty City was cool

Missile launchers were cool

Lack of weapons sucked

so uhhhhh 7/10

better than gta 3 and vice city (nostalgia is seriously blinding you if you think otherwise, reskins of melee weapons with slightly different instant killing animations does not = tons of fun content) but overall not as good as San Andreas and V

seriously man V is the best one yet. It has a million glaring issues like every GTA before it, but it's still the best and most fun, particularly because of multiplayer

I feel like if your rating of fun, id go like this.
SA > VC > 5 > 4
Sa just had so much content and so much to do.
You could enter most your safe houses, huge range of guns and mini games, Tons and tons of extra content to do on the side and no other GTA has come close to being just as good.
Latest GTA just felt like an opened world game that really wasn't that open on rails.

I'm still fucking mad 9 years later. Easily one of my biggest disappointments in gaming. I'm so tired of all the contrarians trying to claim GTAIV was good compared to the rest of the series. Its not a bad game but compared to VC/SA it was fucking awful. Especially SA it removed so many things SA had and replaced it with NIKO LETS GO BOWLING garbage.
