what's a good size for a gaming monitor?
24.5' 1080p since this is the only size of 240hz monitor available.
>>377389274
>240hz
why is this important?
>>377389719
PCfags don't have games to play, they just brag about numbers. Simple
>>377389079
27' for 1440p or 32' for 2160p.
>>377389821
Fuck off retard.
>>377389079
2 24' monitors
one for the game, one for whatever
>>377389079
1920*1080 is perfectly fine honestly.
144mhz is something I simply can't live without now though, not so much for the higher fps potential but more because it seems to get rid of stutter issues. The higher refresh rate seems to let me play games even at 30-40fps and not notice how bad it would look on a normal monitor.
>>377390156
wouldn't lower frame rates look even more jarring on a higher refresh rate monitor?
>>377389079
how close are you going to sit to the monitor
this big
>>377390356
uhh thiccer
>>377390248
like the OP pic

>Grizzly
I'd think a guy like him could afford a better brand.
>>377390484
then I'd say 23" to 24", anything beyond is pushing it really
>>377390210
I don't get how it works but I played witcher 3 on ultra at 30-40 fps and it looked perfectly fine to me, this was not the case on my old monitor and stutter infuriates me.
I'm not tech savvy so I can't explain how it does it, as I said I'm guessing it refreshing faster fools your eye or something.
>>377390356
I tried playing on a big monitor a while ago, as sad as it sounds I got sick of moving my head around to see shit.
What's good but affordable 144hz monitor? I don't mind sizes and all that. I'm upgrading from a shitty 19 viewsonic.
>>377390732
Watched a movie in the theater in the front row recently. Wouldn't recommend. I guess it was like that.
I have a 60hz monitor, will I even notice the difference if I get a higher hz one?
>>377390356
How in the unholy fuck does that exercise ball manage to support Gaben's fatass?
What's the point of going bigger than 1080p when you'd need to configure the HUD for every single game ever since it would leave your visual perception area
>>377389079
22-24inch
>>377391001
if you run games at over 60fps, yes.
27" 1440p or neck yourself
>>377391349
Are you a fucking ultra gook or something? Because I'm a gook and my eyes can at least see 25+ inches in front of me fucking kek
>>377390732
>>377389079
The perfect size of a monitor is the one just big enough that doesn't make you move your head around to see things.
it could be 25-27'?
>>377391925
Look at the middle of your monitor. How do the corners look like from that position? If your answer is "not blurry", then you're not human
>>377390929
It's only small neck movements but if you play for a shit load of hours it gets old, really fucking fast.
>>377389079
27in at 1440p is the sweet spot for size and resolution.
>>377391001
I did, it's the single best thing I've bought for my pc because stuttering drove me insane. I would go back to a 770gtx in a heartbeat and dump by 1070gtx over losing my 144mhz monitor.

>being this much of a consumerist whore
I bet you also upgrade your GPU with every new tier of less-artificially-crippled overpriced cards released by jewvidia running at 60% overall profit margin.

Looks like Gabe's PS4 arrived.
