He's talking out of his ass. The only reason it's 50/50 is because matchmaking is working as it should and you're paired with people of your similar skill level.

That's why I had a 9.5 score in my placement matches for Season 3 but only get around 55% win ratio in regular ranked play because I'm no longer paired up with gold shitters ripe for curbstomping

In cata times alterac valley was popular more than ever (thanks lack of pvp content), so it was obvious that fights in there are nonstop.
A bit of trivia about my char - orc, affliction warlock, almost bis pvp gear at a time +legendary staff.

Our forces were dominating most of the time, so we pushed pretty hard, score was about 450-300 r. points. We just started capturing Icewing bunker. Thanks to the zerg-mind in our forces we stupidly continued to push on, north east from the bunker there are 2 sawmills, right there happened most insane shit ever.

Alliance decided to comeback hard, they got more healers than we do, druids were the biggest pain ever, so that made a big change, our zerg was crushed, we barely made the bunker safe from alliance, but it was just a matter of time when we would be outpushed. Alliance blocked the path after the bunker, tanky cunts in front, mages and healers at the back, nothing new, so the only way to make them weaker is to disable their stormpike graveyard and make them walk straight from the base and change the flow of reinforcments.
Me as a fag hero i was decided to break thru their moving wall of china (fuckin warlock must do a rogue job, nothing new either), surpirsingly enough i made it, passed through the weak point of the WALL and tried to hide in the hidden little path which leads to those 2 sawmills i mentioned before, too bad i was spotted by the fire mage and a holy priest. Those mages had a lot of slows back then, so it was impossible to run away from them. As EGO boosted idiot I decided that it will be best to confront these 2 cucks. (Important - the sawmill area was halfly isolated, so it is rare that someone moves in that area.)

The 2v1 battle starts, as a master of dots i am i put them on mage first, fucking little gnome jew thought that it is cool to burst me from the start, HE WAS RIGHT, priest comes into play and heals that jew asap, as a self healing mongol i am, i knew that i cant focus mage only for a long time, i soul swap that cuck, and focus priest. Damn that mage starts to hurt, i am left with 30% hp at that point, i hope for my drain life and soul leeching shield that it will be enough. Damn my luck i had some crits on that priest so i healed pretty well, priest tries to run and heal himself, mage tries to save him, he teleports near me to cast flaming breath and stun me, litlle bundle of joy forgot that just like priests warlock have aoe instant fear, i almost shit my pants at that point, my heart was beating like I beat my meat, all 3 of us were below 30% hp at that point, healer and mage lost all their mana so it a matter of time when my dots will end their miserable untermensch lives, at last i finished mage, at that moment my hands were covered in sweat like a fat pig i was and still am.

It wouldnt be cool if it was end of story right? Of course not, I didnt even managed to heal myself at that point, a wild unoly dk appeared with his fucking gargoyle and insane self-heals too. I thought that will be the end of my life but i was worth a chance to try to kill him.

Thank kil'jaeden it was a good choice to save a coil for that moment, At that moment it was a game of fear, if a dk would have a moment to activate anti-magic shield it would be the end, 1st fear, trinket, 2nd fear, dots, dots DOTS, DOTS ON GARGOYLE, PLEASE LET ME LIVE, FEARS DONT WORK ANIMORE ON HIM OMG. I try to hide away near the tree and sawmills form that undead dreanei rape-tentacle monster, it passed like 2 minutes from the start of the enounter with priest and mage, but it felt like eternity

Brain started to hurt to remember all the cds we both used. But for a miracle the demonic portal cd was restored, gay-cow used grip already, and i was able to fear him again, at that point my brain calmed down but heart continued to boil the blood. Holy jews the bison and and his happy fuck friend gargoyle died, he stared at me how i replenished my mana and health. I thought, "finally, the end of suffering". Just i wanted to mount up, the last problem appeared.

The mage and priest were back.

I was dead inside and was prepared for "release spirit" button to appear. And suddenly, [lay of hands casted on you], w-w-whaaat? 2 warriors rushed near me into the fight, dozens of guys passed near me.

The wall did fall, we made it, my character just stayed afk at that place, it was a miracle. Thanks guys it was best moment in my wow life.
