I meant the gallery mode. It's a scan of an entire artbook, so I can see why they'd want to jack up the price for it. I agree they're shooting themselves in the foot with the price though. They also made the stupid decision to only include the moon runes version of the book when there's already a fully translated version.

More than you'd think. Sirlin had Art Team #1 lined up, he knew they could do a good job. Execs said "No, they're too expensive. Use Art Team #2" Art Team #2 proceeds (paid) to work on the game for months, redrawing almost everything. Finally the project leaders decide they're too shitty, fire them, and throw out all of their work. So they then hire the slightly less shitty Art Team #3, who starts over from the beginning, and made what we see in HD Remix. The combined costs of Art Team #2 and Art Team #3 were more than if they had just hired Art Team #1 in the first place.

CPS2 games were anamorphic. They had a different pixel aspect ratio than the intended display ratio (4:3). CRTs would naturally stretch the image, making each pixel a rectangle that was taller than it was wide. USF2 is likely doing that via software.

As a pro player who's won several Street Fighter tournaments, I might pick one of these three characters.
1. Ryu is the only character who has a special move (Dhalsim's don't count, see below). I might pick him when I feel like playing with special moves.
2. Unlike Ryu, Dhalsim's special moves (throwing fire and teleporting) are not reliable and only work 15% of the time. Anyhow, he can extend his arms and that is op as shit. No other character can do that.
3. Chun-li has a move where she jumps to the screen border, then flips back. That move is fucking cool and incredibly op. That alone brings her to tier-1. If I keep the kicking button pressed she keeps kicking really fast, a sort of "semi-special" move. There is also the waifu factor. These moves might not work on some machines. Make sure your machine allows these moves before doing serious play.
Honorable mentions:
1. Dictator "bison" is only good when the pc plays it. Wouldn't pick.
2. The Chinese guy, Hawk and Cammy aren't real characters.
