>final semester of college finally done
>haven't played vidya since March, very tough classes
>finally able to play Nier Auromata after loving the demo
>keep dying, have to restart game, just end up putting it away for the night and turning everything off
>have no desire to try again
Is this what being a tired gamer feels like? I think college broke me. This summer was supposed to be all vidya, but now I can't see myself playing much. Anyone else go through something similar
Alcoholic drug addict ex girlfriend and job made me leave every video game or play them for 5 hours and never again. My fault for not breaking up earlier

Well, I guess I can't say I have it that bad. I'm thinking I'm just so burnt out I can't take a challenging game as a way of relaxing like I could before. I just want to relax and play.

Okay, but seriously, I get how you feel OP. Sometimes I've felt completely burnt out on vidya too. Here are some things that have helped me.
Are you playing the same genres over and over again? If you do, play something new, have a change of scenery. I remember I was only playing JRPGs for a while and I got completely burnt on the genre as a whole. Try something out of your comfort zone and see if you like it.
Are you playing while you still need some important shit to sort out? If so, do that shit. No use trying to enjoy yourself when your mind is preoccupied with that other stuff.
None of that shit is working? Go outside. Take a walk. If you get bored just walking, listen to some music or an audiobook. Or maybe go to the gym and lift some shit, or start doing cardio. If you do this shit, vidya just seems that much more enjoyable. If not, well then there ya go, new hobby for ya.
