No. I rolled my eyes because this is the only webm that's ever posted, and it's been reposted time and time again. Sure, Horizon looks pretty, but that's all it has going for it. The story is garbage, the main character is a mary sue, and the gameplay is so fucking stale. The fact that the only weapon you get is a bow, it really makes the game feel more like Far Cry than anything else.
Maybe if you could actually use those monster parts and make unique armor and a variety of weapons from them, then maybe the game would be interesting, but it's not, it's like they took the most cardboard cutout gameplay they could possibly find and slapped it onto the game.

Reminds me of Witcher with a nice, strong color palette.
Effects are very vibrant and give it an overall cool look.
However:

>instantaneous full torso turn on aim

While the story concept looks unique, everything I've seen of this game seems indicative of a AAA game that's par for the course.
It feels like they put a lot of time into graphics and streamlined gameplay, with much less effort put into story, character development, world-building, and so forth.
Overall, I said "Wow" due to how derivative it feels. I doubt this game will hold up long term or be valued as something that was truly unique or important for its time.
Then again, this is a view I hold for a lot of current media.

I'm amazed by the fact that people here does not have any really clue about gaming. Guerrilla Games made a new engine (Decima) from the ground up and moved from FPS to third person open-world. That is great and having a new engine for games is great, more so because that engine is really nice with smooth fps and great graphic. And on top of all this, it's a new IP. They did a lot and I'm sure they learned a lot from this game. The sequel will be even better. They worked hard, anyone with gaming knowledge can notice this.

There are companies that legitimately don't push past their comfort zone. Hard work is easy to spot, and it's especially appreciated when the game is good.

One, MGSV isn't a hard game to run in the first place I run that shit at 60fps with no drops on ultra, two, the game on the PS4 is undoubtedly downgraded to keep that 60fps quota, and three the fucking thing still drops to 28fps so the PS4 can't even keep up when it has training wheels on.

First of all we have Steam, sure it's been bloated with stupid indie shit and early access trash in the past couple years but no console has even come close to the amount of good games it's put out. Second, we have emulation, almost every video game from the golden age is a download away and we can play that shit at 60fps with emulators, third of all we can also get virtually any game that isn't exclusively a multiplayer game for free with no effort. We have literally thousands upon thousands of games to play and you know what? A good chunk of them are moddable too adding countless potential hours to a game and even turning it into a masterpiece with the right mods. So you have fun with your little toy and it's exclusives while I play any game I damn well want.
