What the fuck is this thing even supposed to be?
>>377367685
Never played Pikmin.
Are they supposed to be creepy, or are they just really hard to deal with?
Made me very, VERY upset when I found this at the tender age of 10.
Joy Mutants are strange, deranged beings who were once normal humans, but mutated into body horror abominations due to their overdose of the drug known as Joy. Mutant transformations happen quickly enough that they have been known to surprise a group of people and massacre the rest.
Be careful of these enemies. Their appearance can be misleading and while they spend many turns using moves that don't necessarily cause physical damage to your party (glare, crying, coughing up blood, screaming, etc), they also have high damaging or even potentially fatal moves that will permanently kill your party members.

There's only one. It chases you through a dungeon and is completely invincible, can murder your entire platoon in a nanosecond and the only way to know it's arrived in your area is a strange roar/gurgling noise.
Kicking it's ass (eventually) is pretty satisfying, though.

flubber's evil twin
>>377374146
It's a boss at the end of a dungeon but it will appear inside the dungeon itself after 5 minutes and will instakill your pikmin if he finds you. Basically turns the game into survival horror.

Drakengard is a good game. Ignore the memes.
The babies are an interdimensional evil that was kept at bay by the 4 seals. The dick head empire destroyed the 4 seals so the interdimentional beings invaded the world and started killing/eating everyone.
This game shouldn't be spoiled, but it's old and you probably won't play it anyway.
Drakengard is a great game and just as bonkers as it sounds.

Everyone who likes Drakengard agrees that it's terrible outside of the story. It's like pulling teeth.
>>377377027
Nah that's just the popular thing to say. The on foot stuff gets tired if you don't mess around with different weapons and utilize your dragon, but the air stages are great. I don't see what's not to like. The dragon riding and air combat mechanics still hold up today. That's like half the game.
I'm not saying it's a 10/10, but taken as a whole I think it's at least objectively a strong 6/10 or weak 7/10 (on a 5 average). But if you are into stories it's a great one.

This Fallout 3 or NV? And why were they replaced with mutant hounds?
I'm getting the impression these guys just want to die already.

The Afflicted used to really creep me out when I first encountered them. The soul explosion when they died was even worse.
