This stuff is dumb. Sae has one scene where she snaps at Makoto and then instantly apologises. They spend literally the rest of the game worried about/for each other, she mentions in multiple flashbacks that she's hoping Makoto won't get dragged into everything that's happened and is clearly willing to support her as far as she can.

Yet everyone on /v/ writes it as if Sae is some monstrous bitch who hates Makoto's existence.

She'd be terrified if Makoto moved out and she'd be fighting back every drop of her pride as to whether she would ask her to come home again. They clearly both care deeply for each other.

Go with Makoto imo, simply because she's got so much plot relevance.

There's just more to the scene when you've got Makoto breaking down, fearing that her sister may be killed and terrified that the man she loves may be endangered.

Romancing Futaba, Makoto or Haru gives all the major scenes more depth. Where those side characters never show up.

Plus, it's funny at her end when Sae falls in love with you too, while knowing full well that you've been ploughing her sister.
