Point being exclusivity isn't always bad. You wouldn't see as many high-budget games from first-party studios if they were all multiplat, they wouldn't bother making them when they'd only see a fraction of the returns but still have to foot the whole bill and take all the risk should the game not sell well. Just because it's pro-consumer in theory doesn't mean it would actually work out that way in reality. And again, I agree money-hatting games is bad, third parties shouldn't necessarily be tied to one platform, that is just making the game exclusive solely for the benefit of the platform holder.
