What's the game in the screenshot?
>>377298923
I might be wrong but I think it's banished
Personally I wasn't a fan
>>377297173
to some extend, Spellforce.
>>377298982
Its definitely the comfiest though
Banished is good. I had trouble with figuring out how to make my people reproduce.
My gf plays it a lot.
>>377297173
There was this game I played as a kid where you drew streets with chalk and shit. I forget what it was called
>>377298982
Thanks, it's Banished. It has completely gone off the radar for me. Never heard of it before this. Looks interesting. Everything revolves so much around AAA bullshit hamburger games that smaller titles go unnoticed.
>>377299050
I guess I should give it another shot. I do remember it being very comfy but not very fun.
>>377299159
It was on my steam front page for like a month so I pirated it.
>>377297173
I'm probably gonna get castrated for this but I genuinely like SimCity 2013.
Anno 1404
>>377299215
I'm going to pirate it. Just for a test because they don't make demos any longer. Just because credit cards are so commonplace it doesn't mean they replace demos.

Anon 1404
banished has a mild, everyone starves or everyone gets old all at once and cant breed
>>377297196
>work in orthopedic surgery
>doctor amputates some blokes toes
>I have to carry them to bio bin
>swinging them around whistling fucking around, forget there are toes in small bag
>in lift, really anxious coworker gets in
>still swinging bag, checking phone
>'hey anon whats in bag', 'some guys toes'
>dude freaks out and has panic attack

Caesar 3

Very fun for the first 20 hours, then you start noticing the issues with late game. You can never go hands off and just lazily enjoy building a neat city. Even with a large thriving city you can't relax because either population wave of death, suddenly running out of food or firewood for no real reason etc and your entire city spirals into game over.
You can't get more comfy than sim city 4. Best OST of any city builder period.

Why though?
Is Hearthlands any good ? I've played all Sierra games and it look like a spiritual successor.
Also no a true City Builder but Knights and Merchants had interesting mechanics and was comfy.
>>377300030
Meh.
Looks like Zeus, Caesar, Pharaoh, but way worse.
>>377299286
I really did too anon, don't feel bad.
>>377300326
Fuck, I've played to many time Caesar, Paraoh and Emperor. Guess I will wait for another successor.
Block'hood is really comfy
Tropico, building statues all day long, negleting the poor, increasing your wealth all while you listen to some cuban music.

>Playing Anno only for city building part2070 was good
>>377297173
Tropico

I HEARD THERE ARE JOBS HERE!
>>377299590
SC3 was better
>>377300805
>>2070 was good
co-op city building is really fucking fun and I wish more games had co-op online.
>>377297196
What the actual fuck
>>377300805
I played the ever living fuck out of 2070
played a decent amount of 2205 and even have the season pass but once they added the satellite update I couldn't play anymore, it required MASSIVE changes to your supply chains after they were completely established and I didn't have the autism for that
I've dabbled in 1404 once or twice but how is it really. Compared to 2070, better? worse? I immediately disliked the clunky UI
>>377301478
It's just a different setting, one that I don't really care for. It has patricians and peasants and had really shitty ground combat.
Can create some really cool docks and castle port towns if that is your thing, and it still looks pretty good too.

>i trust your artist expertise cummy eyelids
Fucking kek
>>377297173
Stronghold deluxe was pretty funny imo. The open maps where enemies didnt exist i mean, you just build a city. Best was part build then fill up a castle with your army and pitch, then put into fire your own useless troops
