I still say that what killed this game was both being on the Wii U and instead of FE and SMT characters, we got idols. Personally, I can forgive the second one since the game is surprisingly good.

How was the game recieved in Japan? Overseas not many people like aidoru culture and censorship issues didn't help. Add zero marketing and being on the unpopular WiiU and it's understandable how it is very niche. So I am interested if without all these problems the reception could be closer to P5 (minus budget differences).
