Playing it on ps4 since yesterday and it's a blast. Might be the ultimate fighting game of this gen. For now i'm sticking to darkseid which kinda feels like cheating but collecting gear is really fun, which in return makes the single player modes really worthwhile. I really like the combo system this time around, feels more polished than in I1 which i didn't like all that much. Tbh at times it feels like an mkx reskim but that's fine by me.

Hey how do you guys unlock the third color for a character? I want to get the Phantom Zone color for Supergirl since it looks the best, but I have no idea how to unlock it.

Despite being a huge weeb, I surprisingly find so many characters in this game looking fun to play compared to the eastern fighting games I know of.

No I'm talking about the first three shaders with any character. It goes the default, default alternate and another shader. However the default alternate and the third shader can't be bought with crystals. The Phantom Zone color is the third shader I'm talking about for Supergirl. I unlocked the default alternate by beating the basic arcade ladder, but I have no idea how to unlock the third shader

Level 16 with Grodd, I know like two strings with him and his back 2 into the clothsline is so slow I rarely use it online where there is that slight noticeable lag even at full bars.

I wish I knew better ways to start combos because I'm pretty reliant on the wall bounce as a setup.

That Bane is bad despite how spammy the Deadshot is. You can dash forward then block, meter burn dash, and other characters have specifics options against it. He is sort of a casual filter.

It's a great addition imo. If you're getting your ass kicked, you can always farm better gear for whoever you main. They should have made it mandatory in ranked, so the competition is even higher and to piss off people

I just got powergirl to level 20. It's nice that she's so easy to learn since she has two whole combos. But the downside is that she only has two whole combos and even in the corner she's barely doing 400 damage. She's going to need to rely entirely on mixups to do survive.

I've been messing around with flash and I've got great damage off of both overheads and lows with trait or low with meter but I'm struggling to figure out a real high damage combo off of f21~df1MB without using trait juggles. Anyone know some?

I'm maining Swampy right now. Seems like you pretty much need to use his range to make things safe. His B2, 3, 3 OH string is a good one and works as a safe (depending on distance) mix up with his logs and long sweeps.

Deadshot spam is a legitimate problem for most characters. If you character doesn't have a teleport or a decent forward dash you're guaranteed to take a sizable amount of damage. Even if you slowly creep up, NRS loves their huge chip damage and you're down a fourth of your health just getting in.

Yeah, the real problem here seems to be the chip damage on block. If you look at a good fighting game like Killer Instinct, Kilgore is a character who also fires a relentless amount of bullets, but they do no chip damage, and he can only do it 5 times before his guns overheat and decrease his range for 12 seconds.

There doesn't seem to be anything like that here. Deadshot can just keep firing.

It's weird how I am struggling to get a hang of this. In MKX and Injustice 1, it came naturally and I was above average, in this game it's so much more difficult for some reason. Haven't rven bothered with online yet since I know I'll get assfucked. Hoping I get used to it soon though, really enjoying it thus far.

I'd say the biggest fault in this game is that premier skins aren't customizable like regular characters. Other than that, solid as fuck.
