I can't stop wondering what would have happened if the Dreamcast managed to be a success it's whole run. Would Sony/Nintendo have dropped out instead or would Microsoft simply never enter the console scene?

Latter. When SEGA dropped out, they came in, and the Xbox was just a modified Dreamcast if you really boil it down. SEGA had bad management, but good developers/creators.

Any of you have Virtual On OT for the Dreamcast? How is it on the DC controller? Should I try to get a twin stick instead?
