I recently replayed SMG1 with fond memories... it really isn't good. like, nothing works well in it. all the controls/camera that made sense in 64 suddenly are just broken. everything is just fucking broken. music was still good at least.

Nah it'll be much better, the thing with sunshine is that it has the most glaring flaws of any 3D Mario game and it was obviously rushed to meet the summer release date but it's not even close to a bad game hell I'd say it's decent. It's just that me personally I can't get into it and rather play the other 3D Mario games over it any day (except for 3D Land as 3D World makes that game obsolete).

Then it's gonna be the best Mario game since... well, Sunshine.
