I personally still miss the P3 crew. So much of the conflict surrounding the main characters was part of the story itself rather than some side social link that it really gave this perspective of a bunch of people that aren't friends otherwise getting together to fight a much larger threat which enables them to become closer friends from there. P4/P5 don't have this feel as much and kinda feel unnatural in how everybody just becomes friends so relatively quickly. I don't miss The Answer though and will continue to pretend that it doesn't exist.

People used to avoid telling people to start with P4 because the tone of the series is completely different compared to pretty much every other game. But mechanically it's probably the best start. Starting with 3 might be a good idea but I suppose it hasn't aged well, but if you play a newer game before it it might be hard to go back.

No. I was done with them around Naoto's dungeon, and was (and still remain) completely butt-blasted over the fact that Persona 4 got so much official attention compared to 3.

I'm just glad that shit is officially done and over with, and that I don't hate 5 because you all fucking know it's about to happen all over again.

By the end of Arena 2 I was tired of them. But they were my favorite cast and gelled well together. Its not that I was tired of them, just tired of the milking. P4/G is really them at their best, they are just flanderized in everything else.
