Face it, the PS4 and its library are the swan song of gaming. Nothing from this point forward will ever beat it just like nothing after the PS2 could beat it.

Nintendo's doing pretty well on the switch. Microsoft completely abandoned the Xbone after the first year and now only seems to care about Windows 10, but we'll see what happens with the Scorpio.

PS4 has been the most accessible console this generation for normies that just want to play Madden and FIFA, and has lately been getting a lot of good, niche exclusives to welcome the hardcore crowd. It's well-balanced.
