The connections between Ramza, Alma, Ajora and Durai are never addressed, but it is safe to assume Ajora needed someone of her own type and kin to be reborn.
I don't think the side notes strictly address that meaning a direct connection, though.

The similarities with both the Catholic church setup and Jesus were intended though, yeah.
Probably to add to the "shock" reveal of FemJesus being the actual bad person in the setup.
The idea behind Ultima needing "tons of blood" to be reborn and her being the sign of the Virgin is also intended, yes.

it's one reason why FFXI > FFXIV

You can level up many classes on one character, eventually unlocking a subjob. The subjob's level is capped at 1/2 the main job level and you can use magic and skills up to that cap, like a warrior having access to white mage. It's not the "full" subjob from FFT but it's about the closest you'll get in another FF game.

WoTL has a couple additional scenes with Agrias you can find. There's one if you keep her two knights, and have a certain amount of gold, then land on a town on her birthday, you can get a cute scene with her and Mustadio. Along with a decent accessory item.

Game isn't perfect, but if you like turn based strategy RPGs its one of the best. Any version, port, or patch.

I really wish they did more with using Ivalice for other games, I liked the idea of non-sequential games being set in different parts of the same world/timeline. Tactics and 12 is a pretty strong start to an idea.

99% of SRW games are more busted than FFT and have way, way worse level design.(not to mention they lack the variety of builds of FFT so it's not even the fun kind of busted)
CotP is a joke, there is no challenge outside of the first few stages.
