I would argue that Germany could have beaten the Soviets had Hitler not shut himself in the wolf's den and surrounded himself with sycophants in the place of his capable advisors. I want to say that somewhere around 1941 Hitler started making more and more decisions on his own and they suffered greatly for it. Also, when the Germans returned from France in 1940 they celebrated as if it were the end of the war, throttled down their production of arms and continued to manufacture civilian goods despite the fact that they intended to declare war on the Soviets the whole time. They should have been preparing for total war from the moment they declared war on Poland at the very least.

The only kills I've gotten against the IS-6 (frontally) have been accidental kills where I couldn't identify the tank.
