Uzi's an old SMG developed by the jews & used by poor/second-raters around the world. Decent gun.
TMP is a relatively-new PDW (personal defense weapon, think auto-pistols) featured in stupid sci-fi like half-life & only used by a few first-worlders for a limited time before they got bored of it.

The confusion here is that the uzi is confused with the micro-uzi, which is very similiar to it's competition the mac-10, which are uncomfortable mag-dumping PDW hand-hoses which got a rep in the 80s/90s as OP's image mentioned.
And, further, the micro-uzi/mac-10 are smaller than the original uzi & look similar to the TMP with its T-configuration like the other anon said.
