Not quite. What's happening is that when there's a storm out, lightning will hit metal gear. There's a visual that warns you when you're about to be hit by lightning, that's the electricity sparking on the sword. Link is throwing the sword at the monster so that the lightning hits the sword and the monster right in its weakspot. This isn't the normal way to beat it, its actually pretty innovative

Stalnoxes do not die if you simply hit them while the eye is attached to the head. You actually need to remove the eye from the head to deal the final blow. You can see in a few fractions of a second that the bar doesn't go out all the way, there's a tiny bit left.
The eye is plucked out along with the boomerang and when the lightning strucks it deals a ton of damage but it's actually the fire that deals the final blow.

I just looked this up, and apparently they have elemental differences. So if I run into an Ice variation I'll have to warm up its body by using a fire element item and that way I'll be able to climb it and attack its weak point, and then there's lava variations and etc.

Goal is to kill the eye while out of the body, else it reaches a point where it is immune to damage.

>Fire caused by the strike burns the eye killing it

That's all, not any autism inducing presses. The usual ways are to deal damage to the body until it can no longer get any damage and then hit the eye with an arrow, killing it or hitting the eye, making it pop out, and trying to kill it before it returns to the body, which is a pain since it bounces a lot.

That is the eye.

The boomerang hits and carries the eye to the spot where the lightning hits. Since the guy playing is targetting the stallnox, and the eye is the main "body" of it, which is targetable, that's why the camera takes the hard turn. That was the eye traveling to the ground with the boomerang.

Also, Horses in BotW are pretty magnificent. Provided they're properly tamed. They're easy to control because you don't actually have to control everything they do. Just occasionally steer them. Making multitasking on horse back surprisingly simple.

It really had no choice, since the boomerang was carrying the eye, it also got struck by the lightning as only metallic objects have the capability of doing so (and random trees).
If the eye had landed on a rocky area that would produce no flames I doubt it would have died as the flame created by hitting the grass is the thing that actually killed it.

I don't understand this excuse. There are two major aspects that make up the quality of an animation. Animation, and story. Then there's voice acting. That series certainly doesn't have animation or voice acting. So it's 1 for 3 in the quality department so far. I can't judge story as I sure as hell am not going to watch something that looks that horrible.
