To be fair though, the game DOES play up to what you are bitching about. The game highlights Kara as being sheltered and not knowing of Supes past. She just thinks Batman and the rest are the badguys who took him down. So she is initially fighting to stop him(since Batman is now the one trying to rebuild the world).
There is also the entire Dr.Fate story thread, where he reveals that the reason all of this is even happening is because BOTH of the fucktards went to war like this and even the gods of order were willing to step in and fuck them up to stop it all.

Only so much you can do though when you have already established that Superman is fucking insane and willing to kill pretty much anyone at this point. The game wasnt about to flip that on its head without shitcanning a lot of lore(or delving SUPER heavy in multiverse stuff again).

However, this game uses a 4-button layout for all of its primary moves, so a pad is fine here. I use an arcade controller myself, but that's for comfort reasons.
