It's pretty good. George WEEDman was right, it lifts basically everything from darksouls except there's a skill tree instead of normal leveling up, and you permanently lose gold on death.

the only thing I don't like about it right now is that jumping up and down/through can cause problems and for some reason I think it's easier to get lost. I don't know how I managed it but I'm lost in the sunken keep or whatever.

It's good as a Castlevania type game with the trappings of Souls in parts. I like the diversity of build types it actually makes viable while putting limitations on them such as pure magic that actually changes up how new playthroughs work. NG+ feels like a fucking meme in terms of the health and damage spikes of enemies though.

It's like Metroidvania with a dash of Souls.

The only REALLY bad thing about it is the god awful art design for the player characters and NPC humans.

The style of the monsters and bosses is top notch but holy fuck what kind of backwards ass baking powder heroin were they taking when they made the humans.

The music is also really iffy. They've got some rock tracks that feel out of place. Lack of unique boss music for each boss also gets old.
