If you enjoyed the others it's just more content. It's got worse level and boss design, gameplay improvements over the first. It's the weakest entry in the series but it's still a very solid game.

Default ds2 is dead and scholars is pretty much a revamped ds2 with all the DLC baked into the gameworld.

All Souls games are vastly improved by just using CE to give yourself shit instead of autistically farming in a single player game or waiting until the very very end DLC to get cool weapons/armor.

Das 1 is gimmicky and kind of niche, Das 2 is more LE HARD XDDD with a mechanically sound game, and good underneath. Dark Souls 3 is an intense conclusion to the story that is also more appealing to the cod crowd than the two former, while still keeping charm.

Better than DS1 combat wise. Worse world building wise. Scholar of the First Sin patched it up pretty good, probably best DLCs in the series.
