Brigador is a good mech game.

This guy gets it.
It also has tanks and hover tanks.
Getting a pre-release in June too. Controls are wonky at first but it takes some practice. Ammo management as well as environmental awareness is key.

Starsiege

Controls aren't as much wonky as they're different. The default scheme is relative and you need to control the rotation of chassis and lower torso separately. You can't strafe in a tank or a mech, so it matters a lot. Makes it feel more involved than a simple twin-stick shooter, though.
Project Nimbus is pretty good, but early access

I'd love to see an updated version of this. Spidertanks are underused

Mechwarrior 3 and Mechwarrior Living Legends
Omega boost

gundam blue destiny games on saturn

OP said mech, not mecha

Zone of the enders, both of them
Armored Core, all of them
Dead genre

Mech assault is tight, mech assault 2 lone wolf was really cool as well. Wish I had gotten xbox live before the multi died.
Hawken is decent and f2p it just didn't hook me after a while
Also titanfall is the most fun fps I've ever played, can't speak for the second one because I'm a poorfag bit it looks good

>PS1 GITS
>genre
That game doesn't have a set genre. It's pretty unique.
As is Bangai-O.

TF2 is a good sequel, multiplayer is great though a bit messy. Should have some more ctf rotations in my opinion.
>tfw Mechwarrior Online actually got worse when they improved the netcode because it made light mechs unviable and too easy to shoot down so the game returned to being a heavy/assault spam campfest
haven't played it in a long time, is it still a shithole? I heard clan gear was cash shop only and p2w
