It should have been that Blake's dad was abusive, and Loutermilch used that to scare Blake into leaving him alone with Jessica. Blake should leave, even as Jessica begs him to stay.

Only the next day does he learn that Jessica was found hanged in the school. He puts it together that Loutermilch was involved, but he's too scared to say anything, and no one would believe him without evidence.

They do. Chapters 1-9 are all about Knoth's journel pre Temple Gate. They're all from his time in a foreign country in the 1970's. Long before he got to the site that would be Temple Gate. It even talks about his time dealing with lawyers and Tax men. You can even see where the visions start to happen. Chapter 11 is interesting because that's when Val starts rewriting the Gospel of Knoth with her visions.

Knoth was always a Cult of Personality and suckered people in with his Gospel. It was only when he found the "holy land" of Temple Gate that he properly saw the "lord" and it quickly caused the schism between him and Val because she had different "visions" which labelled her a heretic. The microwaves only caused the holy war in Temple Gate and for Knoth to get murderous. He was a cultist long before Murkoff took notice. It was probably his Gospel that got Murkoff to take notice in the first place.

Anyone else liked outlast 1 + dlc more than outlast 2.

Outlast 1 was comfy, realistic till the walrider part and had a nice setting
