Why don't we instead talk about how Morrowind could be improved?

Instead of having attacks miss, they could instead have them connect but only do 1 damage if they fail the hit roll. At least then people would bitch less about it.

It's a good thing though. Oblivion and Skyrim dialogues are a pain to navigate and listen to.

What's your favorite build. I majored unarmored, hand to hand, and restoration and went full muscle wizard. Had him dressed in temple robes and a daedric mask. It was like playing a kung-fu villian.

Morrowind is my favorite RPG of all time. I've played it since it came out and only actually beat the thing this year. Though now I'm going through Tribunal, the DLC and it's really shockingly terrible. The worst experience I've had with any elder scrolls game. I'm hoping it's just glitches or something but every tiny enemy is a complete damage sponge and kills me in 3 hits even though I have the best medium armor in the game as well as the best long blade, everything loaded with enchantments and able to kill Dagoth Ur with ease. The mission with all the hundreds of assassins was easy but the goblin one of similar nature is annoying and it seems like there's 4 times as many enemies as there should be not to mention it's just plain repetitive and boring. anyone else have this issue? I'm level 40 in my current game btw.

Combat in Tribunal is hell, I only got through it because Spear+Speed+Athletics+Holding down S key let me cheese all those goblins. Burned through so many repair hammers before I fully cleared the underground.

It is the best Elder Scrolls game, but it's not an RPG. Morrowind is the greatest RPG of all time despite only being the second greatest TES game.

Tribunal was the answer to complaints that Morrowind got too easy at high levels. It's also kind of a prototype for Oblivion with its closed city, forbidden levitation, and even the odd level-scaling enemy. It is also heavy on the dungeon crawling aspect which only Daggerfall and Battlespire were ever any good at.

Bloodmoon feels much more like a proper expansion that is in keeping with Morrowind's style of gameplay and level design, but it still has lots of tough enemies and ridiculously powerful werewolves.

"git gud" is definitely the proper response if you're missing several times in a row. There's only three ways to do accomplish that in Morrowind:
A: You have no fucking idea how to play the game. In this case: git gud.
B: You are intentionally roleplaying as a character who has no idea how to fight but fights a lot anyway. In this case: mission accomplished, no reason to complain.
C: You are fighting Gaenor. In this case: okay yeah fuck that guy.
