Cleave attacks do consistent damage to a small number of targets and is something you can maintain for an extended time, such as blade flurry - being the king of cleave tools.

AoE is an area of effect targeted effect. A mages blizzard, or in this case FoK.

Difference being, you can FoK with no enemies present due to it not requiring a target, it is a damage that you use in a small area. You cannot cleave without having at least 2+ targets, one you are attacking and the other one(+) that your damage then cleaves on to.

Ignore zeratul's ability called "Cleave" that's just a confusing thing. He's talking about a method of damage called a "cleave." to illustrate I'll mention the other methods too:

AOE: deals damage to all enemies in an area.
single target: no-brainier.
cleave: deals damage (like single target), that also spreads to nearby enemies.

Cleave is like a semi-aoe semi-single target thing, take the warrior spell in wow (pic related). The first guy was stupid at explaining it, and the rest of you were too arrogant to understand him.

A stun that can take the entire enemy team while also giving you mobility and escape, a good push to keep them out and some decent self heal that can extent to heal your allies should you take that talent. ETC has one of the best kit for tanking in the game with two very strong heroics, that's why his health is low for a tank and his damage output pathetic.

I played illidan from the start, I got shit rolled by him the first day I played against him and never looked back, its a little tricky most of playing illidan is body blocking so you can autoattack at will.
