How do you organize your Steam library?

Other anon here, Steam has tons of redundant entries. There are 3 obsolete Company of Heroes listings that got replaced with "CoH: New Steam Version". And I honestly lost count of how many ways there are to launch the original Serious Sam.

Pretty self explanatory. Games I've beaten with no desire to go back to or games I don't like wind up in the first category.

>>
>>377117118
>>377117143
You can't disable it.

I don't know why it would trigger you this much though. It always appears at the bottom of the list so it won't mess up your own categories,
>>
I've realised the problem with PC/Steam games is that they can be so cheap you don't even think hard before purchases. I have over 5x more games dropped than completed. Three quarters of that shit is Bundle shovelware that seemed enticing at the time (shill threads here don't help). Sure it's nice to get a fuck-tonne of games for a tiny price, but what's the point if you're not going to play them? Bundles were a mistake.

It's forced on you, doesn't matter if the category is empty or not. If you get two entries of the game (one regular, one VR) you have to hide both to get rid of it.
You can then un-hide them when you want to play, but it's a hassle.

would that be a good way to sort it?

What did you think of A Tale of Two Sons? Been planing on buying that. Otherwise decent list, made a note on some titles.

Also if you like point and click Darkness Within and IHNMAIMS are pretty good.

Brothers is not published by WB though.
>>
>>377119450
No, Brothers was published by 505 Games which still means it's not indie.

Bastion was published by Warner Bros.

>yfw you realize most of these games would have been free to play on newgrounds or armorgames 15 years ago instead milennials have to pay out the ass
>>
>>377119558
I'm pretty sure indie just means that the development was funded by the devs themselves, otherwise 50% of the indie games wouldn't really be indie at all.
>>
>>377119852
Indie as in independent. Depending on how you define that you're looking at either something general like 'not mainstream', or something a bit more limited like produced by a private person.

>50% of the indie games wouldn't really be indie at all
That's true. People tend to use "indie" as a reference for low-budget games made by a small team (which does fit Bastion), but that's not what the word means.

Their second game Transistor is real indie game though, since it's self-funded and self-published.

>used to categorise all my Steam games

>now have a Steam library half categorised and half just listed under "Games"
This has been triggering me for some time now but I'm too lazy to uncategorise the categorised ones and also too lazy to categorise the uncategorised ones.

You can just use shift to select all your categorised games and remove their categories, shouldn't take you more than 20 seconds.
>>
>>377120530
oh fuck, I actually didn't know I select them all at once
thank you anon

Yeah, originally you couldn't, but they added that a while back.

>Favourites
Games I'm currently playing or games wich I have 1 or 2 achievements left but are uninstalled so I can go back to them If I want. Probably will make a new category for those.

>Completed
Games I have completed 100% achievements. If no achievements I have completed them in the highest difficulty, or story, or ingame achievements or whatever I see fit to declare a game completed.

>Online games
Games that are online only (not counting bots) like cs:go, chivarly, coffin dodgers, etc. Not really interested in those games and got them in bundles, but probably work on their achievements if I see I can 100% them. I hate multiplayer achievements.

>Games
Default category. I move games from here to favourites and then to completed.

Relic usually goes full retard with DoW games.
DoW 2 used to be

"Warhammer® 40,000™: Dawn of War® 2 - Retribution™"

but they removed trademarks recently .
