Wall is it?
>>377099807
Farpoint
>not a tech demo
>better controls than keyboard/mouse
>fun coop
>but costs an arm and a leg
>>377100094
Artstyle is not that great honestly.
>>377100287
graphics are toned down for better performance on ps4
>>377100523
No, not graphics but the whole aesthetic.
>>377099686
I hear the aim controller is really good
>>377099686
how do you move around?
>>377099686
>good VR game
>only on PS4
Why did Valve cuck all Vive user? Why did I fall for the PC VR scam?
>>377100838
Analog sticks on the controller
>>377100838
aim controller has analog sticks no more teleporting
>>377101049
>>377101068
AHAHAHAHAHAH
>>377101394
>>377101534
>devs haven't make a scientific breaktrough into neurotechnology
>can't move with your mind
As expected of bethesda.
>>377101941
>As expected of bethesda.
Everything is about beth ? what a dumb fuck you are.
>>377101394
woah what a good reason, im sure its going to be shit now
>>377099686
Got my bundle pre-ordered!
>>377101049
>>377101068
I don't see this working.
Not going to help against motion sickness.
Devs need to understand that they need to think outside the box for VR games, standard games don't translate well to VR.
>>377102085
I'm not even them, just memeing. But really, until you can connect your mind and have full vr, nobody here will care. And those walking platforms won't be cheap, so people gotta bitch.
>>377102389
Apparently it works really well
>>377102389
>Not going to help against motion sickness.
Is this really a big deal?
I've tried a bunch of VR systems and never experienced it.
>>377099686
>Another shooting VR gallery
>Good
Check your standards, pleb
>>377102482
Yeah, I don't buy that until I actually try it myself.
I've played enough VR games to know that what works for short tech-demos doesn't always translate well to extended gameplay. VR impresses really easily but it usually doesn't have lasting appeal.
>>377102590
This, modern VR tech just isn't a good tech for shooters or action games in general.
>>377102531
I've never had an issue but I had a few friends over and 1 of them felt sick after 30 seconds of RE7
>>377099686
Looks like dogshit
Problem with VR and using stuff like sights is that it requires at least some form of knowledge of ergonomics and how shit works. Can't get away with godawful shit like OP's image when you actually have to properly use it.
>>377102531
I own a PSVR and it's never made me sick. I plan on trying out Farpoint this afternoon after my Material Science class.
>commute phoneposting
>>377102531
I've never had the issue myself, but I'm the lucky one among my friends.
Additionally, if the developer fucks up (camera shake, for example), it can make the problems a lot worse for everyone, even people who normally don't get motion sick.
Low framerates exacerbate the problem
>>377102590
It's not an on-rails shooter if that's what you mean
>>377103167
Even if you are able to 'proceed' forward it doesn't change the fact it's just another shooting gallery
>Be in place A
>Walk into spot B
>Fight a horde
>Repeat
>>377100094
>>better controls than keyboard/mouse
Wow, if VR development continues at this pace they might catch up to current console FPS in 10 years. How exciting to play something years behind the curve! VR is truly the future.
