Not interested in buying one yet, since there's no equivalent to Bayonetta 2 or Smash 4 to get me excited about it. But it does seem much better than the WiiU. Hopefully a few more niche titles like Disgaea 5 will make their way to the console and give it some more variety

I find it extremely uncomfortable to use with the joycons attached to the tablet, but on the other hand playing with joycons detached with one in each hand is the comfiest shit ever. Overall it's an okay device, just needs games now.

I mean Skyrim remastered could run on the 360, its always been a matter of optimization and bethesda is terrible at that.

I regret buying the wii and didn't bother with the wii-U. still out on the switch. Its still a new console but that its a couple months out with only one worthwhile game doesn't bode well. I won't fluff my collection with shovelware to make my purchase feel worth it.

I just checked by Switch right now, it's been in sleep mode out of the dock since I finished Zelda 64 days ago.
The battery is at 15% right now.

That's pretty good. Probably even better than the Vita, huge step up from the 3DS which would always die in a day or two while sleeping.

I think nobody I know has one, I haven't seen one played outside despite living in the most densely packed city in the continent, you can't find them for sale anywhere, there are 4 titles available in stores yet apparently it's the best, most successful and most popular console in history.

In short I think nintendo are spreading false rumors about its prowess.

Nintendo isn't meeting their demand, and its difficult to gauge how truly great it actually is so long as Nintendo under produces and ships the consoles. Autists like me are desperate to get one, but scalpers are lapping them up like they do every Nintendo product, and thus here we are.

I personally think Nintendo is intentionally doing conservative shipments to create an illusion (at least partly, there is genuine demand that seems to exceed the U) of popularity, but even more so, to drag out this high demand right now to the holidays.

They're basically just not doing massive shipments until the Christmas frenzy. You probably won't see any on store shelves at all until Arms comes out, then it'll be dry again until holidays.

My experience in Melbourne, too. Had to shop around a little to get one in neon like I wanted but it wasn't too difficult. Games are selling pretty quick too, though again it's just a matter of shopping around.
