It works well enough. Getting the BIOS packs are a pain in the ass though. Any controller should work if you have the right drivers.

Works fine on win 10. You should be able to play most games well. Check http://wiki.pcsx2.net/index.php?title=Category:Playable_games&from=A for specific games for common bugs/fixes and config setups.

works fine. epsxe for ps1 is amazing, pcsx2 is great for ps2. im playing the fuck out of monster rancher 2 since i finally got the disc swap to work for monster generating.

Emulation is hit or miss. It ranges from perfectly fine to unplayable but these days it's mostly fine.
Remember to always check the wiki for what you plan on playing.

Better accuracy and compatibility and no reliance on plugins which can be outdated as hell (Pete's OpenGL video plugin is from 2008).
And in the case of Mednafen, it's open source.
Also I don't remember if ePSXe supports PGXP.

Well i mostly wanna play god hand, beat down and way of the samurai.

I have multiple platforms i can try; a laptop with win10 and two desktops with win8. would have to look into the specs, i'm not an expert by any means.

There are games with weird issues.
Check the pcsx2 wiki to see if whatever you wanna play might have problems. I dunno if anyone even updates the wiki anymore, so if you grab the latest version of pcsx2 you might not even encounter some of them.

Just get a PS2 or a Backwards Compatible PS3, it's 100% easier to do that than fuck around with a emulator IMO. Especially if you have a shit PC.
