borderlands has the right number of enemies, though I would prefer that the make more enemies that can appear in multiple situations

like the crystal enemies only appeared once, because of how specific they were, I would like to see at least more enemy types that can appear in any zone, this is more important than more gun types

I want Jakobs to gain autofire again, but slower than manually clicking, since there are occasionally times when you just want to pepper something from a distance

I want Bandit weapons to go away, this was a stupid idea, and they weren't nearly as cool or useful as the original S+S. Specifically the low accuracy made them rarely a good choice.

I want a blonde siren, green is also acceptable, pink is NOT

I sort of want angel and steele resurrected, I'm on the fence about this, the '6 sirens total' was always kind of a weird bit of lore

well I guess I'm in the minority then, but I still find the game enjoyable even if some of its aspects really drag it down. I'd still enjoy Bl3, but I want them to tone down pop culture references, or rather references as a whole, way down. Remove them altogether if you want and go for more subtle humor and I'd be far more accepting of the shit they throw at you as an excuse for a plot. Bl2 only got stale for me during true vault hunter, at which point I had completed all DLCs and side quests, and the scaling started getting real retarded real fast

I don't know how it will be able to top Borderlands 2. Borderlands 2 had Maya who was able to run around at a constant 200% base speed with the Rough Rider and a Breakneck Banshee com. Constant 200% speed, even add a bonus 10% on if you got the right com. With BL1 you still had Phasewalk which temporarily made you faster but even the cooldown was short. Presequel is just too slow and sluggish but it barely gets a pass for letting you be able to boost in the air, so you still have some mobility. And now after playing Titanfall and Nu-DOOM every other game is slow. Sprint doesn't matter to me anymore when your base walking speed in D44M is faster than every other shooter's sprinting speed. It's like what's the point in having a sprint button anymore, just make the character walk faster from now on. If BL3 doesn't have Quake/D44M/Unreal movement speed and mobility mechanics or at least wall running, I don't know what I'm gonna do. The shooting mechanics in Borderlands is so slow and clunky to me now. Battleborn didn't improve anything, it was still super weighty with their shooting while being slow and floaty with their mobility. ADS and bullet sponge enemies aren't cutting it for me anymore. I just want a D44M with loot mechanics now. Also all the gun sounds need to be re-recorded to not sound like toys.

Borderlands 1 used linear scaling and everything was fine.

All scaling in Borderlands 2 is exponential, which results in ridiculous numbers that could've been avoided witha different formula and literally same result because of maintenance of damageoutput/health relation

And the formulas themselves are fucked up.

This leads to weaponry that becomes obsolete with the newer level - orange gun one level below would deal much less damage than white trash you pick up on the next level.

At some point after level 45-50 instead of growing stronger as you level up, you slowly become weaker and weaker, and weakening accelerates as you progress further.

Then they doubled down on it with OP levels.


They realised their mistake though and Pre-Sequel returned to the proper and more balanced scaling. Too bad the rest of PS is trash.

Borderlands has a notorious tendency to drop a gun in the middle of the game and have it be useful for most of the rest of it because its so out of scale / overpowered or has the right effect. If you could put guns together all it means is you could shoot for that OP shit to begin with rather than having to wait for it to drop

I'd like them to bring back revolvers too, and make loot not so homogeneous, it felt like like a lot of loot in BL2 was varying degrees of shit. Obviously you don't want to shower the player in god tier loot but it'd be nice to get something cool every few levels, or at least not make rare loot become obsolete as soon as you level up a few times

Have a whole list of mods. Aaron0000 is the one that made the ones you're looking for, theres also a lot of videos on youtube of various mods in action if you want to see exactly what they do before you try them.

Bear in mind that this is all fanmade stuff and some mods don't play well with others/break other stuff in game/are incredibly overpowered. But so far I haven't had any issues.
