Eliwood takes magic hits like a champ and is very hard to ORKO in general despite his shit defense because he's so fast. In fact, Eliwood can survive a round from vanilla Reinhardt without boosts and death blow 3 variants with a fortify cav boost.

I like reposition best. Usually if I'm using a movement assist I want them out of the danger zone. Swap just replaces the unit that was gonna get fibbed with another unit that will also probably get gibbed. It also moves them further if you want use it offensively. Ignis allows you instagib blues or at least take a good chunk of their HP. Xander can bring a Effie down to 5hp with a proc and survive assuming that he is at full HP and not debuffed in some form. Bonfire charge faster and gives you a necessary burst damage to take some units that he can't properly kill, its better if you are using vantage.

Erika is probably the best support in game simply from her Double Hone capability and decent speed/bulk (I also have low opinion on dancers, but that's just me).

Effie is fucking nuts, the embodiment of High-Intensity-Sexual-violence.png . Warry fighter and her crazy strength makes her a real threat unless the enemy team has a good mage (not decent, they need a good one to deal with her).

Beyond that, I wouldn't bother with anyone else unless you're trying to do one of the Unit-Type teams.

As far as general advice, I'd say you should drop your Roy for a promoted Effie, or Erkia if you do decide to go along with them.

Does everyone always just only slap Quick Riptose 2 on things because Quick Riptose 3 is 5star locked, or because the 10% different between 2 and 3 is negligible due to the fact that you only ever really run it on slow units who will get doubled out of the 70% HP threshold anyways?

Quick Riposte is one of those skills that you can get away with a Rank 1 version on certain heroes. I gave my Julia a QR to test out and it turned her into a magic-check for my team of all beefy tanks (Ike/Lukas/Hector).

That is of course, I had a fun load of Subakis, and she has Green Tomebreaker 3 at the moment. Quick Riposte 2~3 are for Heroes that can reliably tank hits and take little to no damage. (again, Lukas is one of such who loves it.)

Pretty much, at least with the current pool of players. as far as suggestions, drop the healer immediately, if you have the feathers for it look into promoting a green unit. I'm guessing you had already used your Minerva and just didn't like her too much. Might like Anna, she's fast and strong as heck. Nino is also very good if you can buff her.

yeah im talking about defense too. she's not a threat to anyone but linde. if those attacking units have Fury they have 3 more DEF, meaning they would need 4 turns of Fury damage to be KO'd by effie which is never going to happen. Lucina's good, but not apex material anymore. She'll probably be the best Sword you'll have for the foreseeable future though, though a Distant Counter Sword like Ryoma will replace her.
Effie's a fucking great unit, but she really wants Swap on her ass. You'll probably be keeping her on for a while.
Robin is alright, can be pretty useful with Triangle Adept 3 but he falls off otherwise. Linde is still on banner right now, and she's the best Infantry Mage in the game, if you still have orbs it might be worth rolling for her.
Don't use Healers, at least, not without Wrathful Staff on them. That Sheena is a far better use of that 4th slot than he is, even though she's not super great either.
I'd look into promoting Nino if she's +Atk/Spd and trying to run a buff team around her. Julia is on banner as well right now, and she's an exceptional unit as well, so she might be worth trying to get.

What do you all think the best grinding strategy is?

I use a -def and +attack cecilia with TA 2, she's still capable of taking clear physical hits but they tend to be around 12 damage or so per hit. In short if there's two tacos you better initiate at least one of the fights(which since she's a horse mage she has no problem of doing so)

Of those options I'd go with the neutral one or the +res/-def one. It depends on whether or not you consider kleins/tacos a bigger threat to your other team mates than linde/rein

I'd stick with Moonbow honestly - if you don't have any units with it yet, hold out for one. Since Lightning Breath's penalty adds an extra turn to her special's cooldown rate Moonbow is one of the most viable options for her, as it only takes two turns to proc standard. Also, I think anything more powerful is overkill as long as the rest of her build supports it - Moonbow is all the extra power she needs.

That being said, I've also heard Reprisal and Bonfire are viable options too, depending on the rest of the build and her IVs.

Get 22k feathers and upgrade him to 5 star from 3 star because you're gonna need a full porno cumload of SP. Grab quick reposte 2, bonfire/moonbow, and fury along the way and make sure you have 400 SP before you promote to 5 stars unless all you need is Siegfried. If you're running horse emblem, then grab a cav skill too.

If you want a 4 star horsey sword unit, use Cain. Xander and Eliwood don't become truly powerful units until they hit 5 star. Cain is a fine unit anyway, but he's not as accessable as Xander or eliwood considering you can only pull 4 or 5 star versions.
