Which one is better?

D3 is actually fun to play but doesn't have enough content and gets almost no support.

PoE is boring shit but gets updated every five minutes.

I suggest playing neither.

Did you honestly like and play diablo 2? Then you will like PoE more.

D3 is designed to cater to WoW players.

Diablo 3 has better enemy variety.

Path of Exile is ugly as sin and the enemy variety is trash.

I hate WoW and MMOs in general and I really liked Diablo 3, so I'm not sure that's accurate.

It's designed for concentrated bursts of autistic/obsessive sessions until you get absolutely fucking sick of the game for another year. It's why the season system is so smart in my opinion.

PoE feels more like it's designed to play over much longer periods of time.

D3 is therapeutic in that you can just sit back, unwind, and relax as you mow through rifts.

PoE requires that you pay a bit more attention, and the skills generally aren't very interesting.
