Lost Odyssey was a much better game. My only issue was the mechanics not matching the narrative. I'm immortal how come I keep dying? Granted, this would be less of an issue if I wasn't shit at games. I died a lot.

The immortals don't die in battle, they're just knocked unconcious and will wake up on their own after a few turns, so long as everybody doesn't go down. Nobody said Kaim and the others couldn't be captured and thrown in a deep, dark cell to rot. In fact, Kaim is in exactly that situation in one of the Thousand Years of Dreams stories. Being immortal doesn't inherently grant you god-like powers after all.

Graphically this game was ahead of its time, so much so that it was almost unbearable to play from a visual perspective. Other than that the world and characters were fun and it had Toriyamas charming art. Would be great on the Switch

Backward comp is the X1's best feature though, this one looks great upscaled and I don't think the graphics could be redone that much better for its style.

Now if they can add Tales of Vesperia, EDF 2017, NieR and Dead Rising 2 I'd be happy.
