i recently went and replayed morrowind to see if the missmissmissmiss meme was truer than i remembered.

my character is an unstoppable killing machine in less than 20 hours. yes the first couple hours are rough but so what.

He's supposed to die, you shouldn't be able to save him. What normally happens is that you start walking out of the first town exploring, hear someone screaming, then find his body. Then you can loot him and find a diary explaining that he created a spell that will let him jump so high he can quickly travel around all of Morrowind, and a scroll with the spell. The implication is that he tried out this spell and died as a result.
