Bullshit. Dragon Rider was so boring and forgettable that they had to make you fight him twice just to remind you that he was in there at all. Bed of Chaos actually tried to change the boss formula up a little bit. Sure, they didn't quite nail it, but it was definitely more interesting than circle strafing a dude in armor or twenty minutes.

DeS is good but dated and served as the building blocks of the series.
Ds1 improved on the base DeS created.
Ds2 perfected the RPG aspects and added some to the gameplay aspects that Ds1 and DeS made.
Ds3 threw all of it out of the window in order to ape off of BB.
Sad how this all turned out.

I like DS2 a lot, but the bosses were really its weakest aspect, there were just so many filler low-quality bosses that should have just been cut to improve on the better ideas they had.

Dragon Rider might be the lamest of them all, he's just so uninteresting he's a big knight with no backstory that makes any sense (He's just one of Vendrick's knights, but why is he in Heide's Tower?) and has no interesting quirks or design elements.

I wish all these souls threads would calm down.
