There's also Kirby's Epic Yarn.

Witcher 3 is out of competition really as far as medieval games go. The world design is just superb.
>>377026347
>Subnautica

Has this game been released in the west?
Element4l is a pretty underrated, super comfy atmospheric platformer.
I've never seen it mentioned on /v/ aside from the times i've posted about it, and it's a shame. It's got a lot of charm and has a decent amount of challenge to it.

Comfiest zone in WoW

Dishonored 2 locations are very comfy. That great palace interior is just awesome

Hiding the hud make the withcer 3 super comfy.
Witcher 3
Guild Wars 2
I can't think of anything else right now but any game with good ambient sounds really.

euro truck and american truck simulators are both very enjoyable. especially when it rains in the game and you have your wipers going. multiplayer mod can have some comfy convoys too.
>>377027010
Yes, it was on PSN not long after it launched.
>>377025256
I like Banished for my comfy games.
Just farming and growing my small village like a mad cunt.
>>377027395
is the colonial charter worth reinstalling banished for? haven't played since release yet i hear colonial charter is quite extensive.
i like banished but for me the comfiest city builders were some of the later settlers games.
Cities Skylines, especially when you have one comfy town or city, while there's a shithole gridlocked diseased mess right next to it, so the comparison it even more comfier.
>>377027174
I agree, even certain stressful segments rewarded you with a moment of respite afterwards
>Clockwork Mansion
>sneak past those clockwork soldier fuckers
>Jindosh rewards you with "the finest view in Karnaca"

Don't listen to the rest of Ori's soundtrack if you plan on getting the game, hearing it in context for the first time is amazing

I always found knights & merchants to be really comfy.
>>377027501
care to post any comfy cities?
i'm still in love with simcity 4 and can't love cities skylines the same way. i haven't seen many cities from cities skylines yet would like to see how mods have changed that game
>>377025973
The southwestern part of the map is pretty chill, just walking around and soaking in the ambience, not to mention the super comfy HQ.
>>377025256
Red Dead Redemption
>>377028020
the music is too annoying for it to be comfy.
>>377025256
Stalker
Though it also has the most tense atmosphere at times
Persona 5
>>377027896
I prefer building rural towns using all the medieval building mods and farm assets.
Not a specific game but taverns in games are almost always great.
You will never find a comfier game.
Who are the other 9 people that played this game?

Also starbound is pretty cozy, even if it's garbage for the most part.
>>377027896
That's because Cities Skyline is a city painter not a sim
>>377026347
This.
>>377027481
Haven't tried it. Honestly I just got a 2000 person town shortly after released and toy around with it once in a while. It's been a bit though. Life gets busy and all that.
>>377030113
Naval Action
>>377025256
Zelda: Skyward Sword.
>>377025256
Yakuza
>>377026156
>>377026725
can you people type the name of those fking games?
>>377030462
Ah, I heard the developers kinda fucked it or something. Was about to buy it and suddenly there was a flood of negative reviews on steam.
vtmb has a lot of comfy spots but nothing beats santa monica in the rain
>>377030660
>I heard the developers kinda fucked it
Don't know. Since I only play when I want to relax it doesn't look fuck to me.
>>377025256
VtMB and Sleeping Dogs
AC4 had some comfy places, steering the ship while your mates sing made it better.
>>377027896
>i'm still in love with simcity 4 and can't love cities skylines the same way
That's because they're nothing alike. SC is a city simulation, Skylines just has the town as an excuse to play with traffic. It's closer to Cities in Motion than SimCity.
