This 1000%.

I remember a time when game dev studios were driven to innovate and the idea that games were meant to be fun. Now you can't get a game made unless it gets the green light of big money investors who don't even like the games industry and want a maximum return on their stock purchase, and dev studios built around gaining as much profit as possible until they inevitably get bought by a larger publisher and dissolved into nothing.

I remember when I first played Rouge Squadron I was looking for ways to set my shields to full front or rear. Nope. No toggle switch to link fire either. Then there was those janky controls when you go to do a roll of any kind.
