I was so hyped when they announced it using the slogan "prepare to dine".

I though fromsoft will give us something epic, then they revealed that shift is the developer,
I instantly remembered that disgusting trash of game they made before aka god trash... i mean eater.

My hype died in a matter of seconds.

Fact is there is nobody who can come close to fromsoft in terms of fantasy and especially dark fantasy rpgs.

Many tried but only a few succeeded.

And shift will definately not be one of them, especially with scamco as publisher

I've beat witcher 3 and all its dlc. It has the best graphics and the better story but the gameplay was godawful, whether the combat or the blues clues missions. Literally I was only playing the game to advance the plot.

In terms of actual gameplay, witcher 3 doesnt hold a candle to dark souls.

How, in any way imaginable, does this game redefine any genre? The combat is Bamham derivative trash, the story itself is equally derivative generic fantasy, the setting isn't unique by any metric, there are only a handful of characters who are any better developed than their relationship to Geralt and/or some one-off sidequest, what are you Mustard Rats seeing in this garbage? 90 hours in 3 and I legitimately cannot fathom how this game is considered anything other than "Pretty good".
