Plus there's a general stigma against Zelda here on account of it being the game of choice for 'fake nerd' types. Excellent game, though. First thing in god knows how long to give me that drive to play that keeps me up to unhealthy hours in the morning. Just exploring around feels like it's making good on the promise of a sense of discovery, even if there could be more to discover. The draw distance is also astounding for the hardware. You can easily see from one end of Hyrule to the other on a clear day.

It's basically just a portable Wii U at the moment but I'm still enjoying it. A bunch of my mates picked up mk8 so the multiplayer has been fun.

I'm just waiting on E3 to see if it'll get any worthwhile games that aren't glorified ports.

I love it. It's so handy. The control setup is very nice to, I could easily play MH or anything else I wanted, and the battery seems to last forever.

The only issue is that the controller sticks feel like cheap plastic, almost as bad as my PS4 controller. That thing is going to fall off, I can feel it.

Depends on the size of your hands but they aren't too bad. I've used the left one and a few people the right for Mario Kart, no complaints so far. The included straps do help round out the shape and make the shoulder buttons easier to press, but it's pretty alright without.

It's my main gaming machine at the moment. I usually only have 2-3 games going at any given time, and since I've played everything new on PS4 and PC I'm interested in it's kind of nice to have a small trickle of 80-200 hour games.
Once I finished Nier I picked up BotW, then MK8 came out, and soon Arms and Splatoon will be out as well.
Really, really not trying to sound like a shill, but the best part is that the online is free right now, and they're releasing their main online games now, and in the fall/winter we should be getting more single-player focused games, right around when the service goes paid and my interest in MK8 and Splatoon falls through.

Finished Zelda and now I just play weekly games of MK8 with friends while we wait for Splatoon. I've gone back to my PS4 and Xbox and I'm going to go play some other singleplayer games.

Currently playing Recore which is like a AA Sci-fi version of Zelda and it's really making me wish Zelda had dungeons instead of shrines. Not to mention the Recore score is a thousand times better than BotW. Some of the small dungeons I find exploring the wasteland have been more memorable then all the shrines combined and even require more time than some of the divine beast.

I loved Zelda, but fuck I want Recore + NuZelda so bad, it'd be my dream game. I'll probably play Odinsphere: Lethiwhatever, Infinite Warfare campaign, Ori and the Blind Forest, Prey, or Gears of War 4 next.

My Switch is gonna chill till July most likely.
