I hated this game, it was dull, the characters were just dumb and it felt aimless. I traded this game within 48 hours of getting it.

/v/ is kuudere for any good game that happens to be made by Ubisoft and/or feature prominent black characters

i don't mind all the entry-tier memes and pop culture references that are all feeling way too old or dated already, but I think the game suffers a bit from lack of real tension.

the first game was dark and the hacker guy was basically batman. He was a loner and did shit like bust up gangs and infiltrate human trafficking while hunting people who hurt his family.

in this game? its all wacky screwing with someone's webcam to make them shit their pants while you call the cops. people like a stand-in for martin shkreli or the people working at google. The most srs things that happen are the black guy being kidnapped/killed which happens out of nowhere and the anger over it is basically gone not even 10 minutes later because marcus quickly kills the guys that did it and then they all move on, and the guy with the mask gets arrested and exposed and then that's resolved like 3 minutes later as if it was no big deal.

overall though, it IS a lot more fun to play and it's designed a hell of a lot better than the first game.

Debatable. All of the "improvements" I can think of atm are just things that make the game easier - eagle vision, drones, environmental lures, and proximity explosives (again, environmental).

Treat guns as a last resort. Game is tenfold more fun when you actually use drones n shit. The map is so big that driving around actually gets boring though so feel free to use alternative transportation methods.
