Is it stupid to buy a digital copy of my favorite game (quite cheap on sale) so I can play it whenever I want without needing to change discs? There are no other games on the market now that I'd want that are the same price

Depends if I approve of what game it is desu
>>376997293
It's only stupid if it's a shit game.
To clarify I mean when I already own the game on disc

Just make sure the money is going to the original developers and not china

What did he mean by this?
>>376997293
What game do you like, Anon?
That cat is cute, I think it's time I dedicate a specific folder to cats in beds instead of having them in my general cat folder

Sometimes, if a developer doesn't exist anymore, you buy a game and instead of the people who made it China gets the money you paid for the game
That's something you want to avoid, if at all possible
>>376999443
Thats how it goes even when they do exist.
Most devs don't get a "cut", they get paid by a publisher, get a bonus based on the games performance, and then the publisher keeps making money and may or may not invest money in the devs again.

Not a problem here, it's an AAA title
>>376999689
Which AAA title?

I smell hot garbage.

It's hilarious that I refrain from saying what game it is because I'm not in the mood to get into typical /v/ argument #126,783 and you people still manage to throw your buzzwords around
>>377003843
Not him, I honestly just want to know so that I can add it to my list of games that people like and I will some day play
I sometimes regret buying physical
