What does /v/ think of the ORIGINAL Timesplitters?
It's pretty unremarkable outside of character designs, music, and map maker.

Fun as hell and way ahead of its time. A solid stepping stone from golden eye. Still have TS1/2 in my collection. Probably won't play ever again but still have them.
>>376994810
Is it worth owning TS1 if you have 2 and FP?
never played it
played the fuck out of TF2 and TFFP though
>>376995134
fuck I mean TS2 and TSFP
>>376994525
Are you saying TS2 isn't the first one???
Literally who
>The 'demo' of TS2 in Homefront TR supposedly has files for every single mission, among other details
>>376994810
You dumb fuck, there is nothing remarkable about ts1. Ts2 and 3 are the good ones, ts1 is shit
>>376994525
It split time before any of the others (probably)
>>376995321
Maybe one day someone will make a mouse injector like they did for Goldeneye and Perfect Dark
>>376994525
TS1 didn't age very well, but TS2 is still the shit to this day.
A TS4 on PS4 could be to the console what TF2 is (was) to Steam.
It would be a better Overwatch. It would absolutely kill the competition, it would just be amazing.
Sure was boring
>>376995629
>if it doesn't have a story cutscene every 5 seconds it's boring!
>>376994525
i remember it being fun as hell. I mostly just play TS2 whenever I come back to the series. Also how does Future Perfect compare to TS2?
>>376995914
Future Perfect has much less Goldeneye influence; there's fixed crosshairs, melee bashes, actual reload animations, being overall easier, and a more narrative-heavy story to tie up TS2's plot. Still an enjoyable game and still retains the humor and a good chunk of the arcade modes.
>>376995629
This, it's dated AF and the sequels were superior.
>>376995914
loses the charm TS2 had when the new artists ditched the comic like style and the arcade mode isn't as great, but the mapmaker is slightly better.
>>376996131
I think that's what it was. It was super easy compared to TS2, plus none of the extra modes or mapmaker functions were locked from the start in FP so you didn't have much to work towards.
something about the levels just weren't as fun to me either
Will we ever get an official TS2 remaster? I'd buy the shit out of it.
>>376996741
They know we want it. Why else would they have put that TS2 arcade minigame in Homefront? Hell all they gotta do is up the resolution, add leaderboards for challenge mode, mod support, and an online mode.
>>376996741
TimeSplitters Rewind is supposedly coming out this year, but after the "trailer" they released I'm not sure what to think of that.
