Selphy's the easiest because she's a slut for sandwiches and those are relatively easy to make.

The worst part about Frontier is just getting to the NPCs. Getting around in that game takes a lot longer than in any of the DS titles.

In RF4 I usually beat the first arc in the first spring enter a relationship in the first summer, spend that and fall grinding, dating and raising relationships, beat the second arc in the winter, then get married, at that point a child can happen whenever it happens

I guess it's more memorable they way they do it but at the same time I wish Rune Factory wouldn't tie relationships to the story. I'm glad that the characters are involved, but it's very annoying when you hit an obvious wall where it's the game telling you to do more dungeons. IIRC ToD did the opposite where raising everyone's FP was more helpful in the end.

You have to manually activate it by talking to Ventuswill and saying "how you been?". Once you've done that, Act 2 will start after about a week. To avoid starting act 2, just say "I just came to talk" when talking to Ventuswill
