Can someone attempt to defend the horrendous slog to Orstein and Smough from the second Anor Londo bonfire? Playing this game for the first time and this is atrocious.
>2 silver knights
>2 giants who can hit you through walls, have huge amounts of health, and can regen
>Asshole archer who takes off half your health'
>By the time you reach the fog door you'll have used up your estus and magic
>The giants respawn whenever you die (I can understand the Knights doing it, they have way less health)
>If you want to rush to the fog door to summon Solaire, you'll both get ganked by the giants

There's a dozen bosses with worse slogs, and you chose this one?
Cool Ranch Demon is my personal least favourite in Old Iron King's DLC, but even in DaS the Crystal Cave is worse.

I have to confess, I've never been able to defeat the giant knights before Smough and Ornstein. They always heal faster than I can kill them.

That part is my favorite part of the game, titanite shards don't drop often after I kill forest invaders so I farm them on that place by killing the giants, easy shit.

Best way to get past the archers is to get the Fog ring and slumbering dragon ring,, and equip them both so the archers don't see you till you are up close.
