That is one of the problems that all other games decided to pick up after Diablo 2. Too many different tiers of loot that late in normal you don't even touch blue items often if at all and just go for yellow or higher. Eventually it just becomes socketed items along with runes. There is a lot less excitement for what could drop anymore because most magical items are trash. It isn't that they could be trash, it is just that they came in the wrong magical rarity as a blue item rather than a yellow or gold and as a player there is zero need to pick it up, none-the-less identify the item.
