The girly j-pop/charlie's angels/girl power themes might have made some of the male audience uncomfortable about playing it.

I thought it handles the evolution of Spira quite well, showing how people were adjusting to a life without Sin, with some embracing their newfound freedom and others scared or unsure of how to live in a way they'd never known, resulting in the rise of the political factions.
