Yeah but the Gaalsien were surviving around the equator where it was ridiculously harsh. Obviously it's possible with their tech. The infidels of the North simply weren't willing to give up their lavish way of life.

Is Blackbird going to do anything after their NASA collab? I really liked Deserts.

During the glorious month Multi was alive, if you did 3v3s against the first Triumvirate of Rome, that was me and friends.
So sad bad infrastructure doomed a promising multiplayer section.

Well, if you played Homeworld, you'd realize they were up to something with that prophecy.

Really good RTS senpai.

The campaign is fun and interesting enough. The story is a real sci-fi low fantasy kind of thing with lots of backgrounds and well thought universe.

The MP is actually VERY GOOD. Underrated to be honest.

You can read about the tribes of Homeworld in the wiki and the Expedition DLC that came with DoK.

What I love about Deserts of Kharak is the effects and models of each vessel. When they explode, the animations the interceptors do, how they leave a big ass trail of flames and rubble, sand blowing up with them.

Also how every design is thought to be like how would traversing the Dune Sea would be. Big ass rovers adapted to an endless desert, and how the hover tech of Gaalsien looked too.

The game EXUDES style. Old Relic style long gone.

I used to play the HW2 MP vs my brother and sometimes friends on the internet, I'd just manufacture dozens and dozens of the missile squads and go straight for the jugular, could probably be easily beaten by someone who knew what they were doing but basically I couldn't lose against friends.

Lol yeah, like Skimmers and some armored units would have done a massacre to that.

There are some cheeky rushes like Kaaneph Bomb Drone Rush into the Harvesters, or heavy harass into Siege Cruisers and such.

It's a good game; Still if played right, it's a cut throat kind of game that can get you crippled in 6 minutes and dead in 10.
